Courtney Duncan of F&H Racing finished second in the penultimate round of the Women’s World Championship in Arnhem. Duncan rode two strong motos and managed to finish in second place in both the first and second motos.

Duncan has trained a lot with the team in the sand in recent months and this paid off in Arnhem. After a fourth fastest time in time practice, she came out strong in the first moto. She managed to work her way up to second place after a good start and followed the leader in the race. Riding the sand was never her strong point, but now she was fighting for the moto win. Duncan ended up just short and finished second.

She also did well in the second moto and we saw a copy of the first moto. She quickly worked her way up to second place and put the pressure on the leading lady. Duncan stayed close but it didn’t come to an attack. Once again, she managed to cross the finish line in second place, which also earned her a second place in the general classification.

Because she has missed a race, she is in seventh place in the standings. In three weeks, the last race is scheduled in Turkey.

Quentin Prugnieres managed to finish thirteenth in the MX2 class. Prugnieres showed good speed in both motos but eventually had to settle for fourteenth and twelfth place. In the world championship standings, Prugnieres is in twelfth place with four races to go.
